BGN01: BAGAN SIGHTSEEING TOUR(Full Day)

Overview

Bagan is the land of most unique temples in Asia. This Bagan full day sightseeing tour will give you a great chance to explore the best of Bagan like temples and pagodas. You also have chance to interact with the local people to learn about their culture and lifestyle when visiting the local market. It will be relax time when we across the Irrawaddy River to Tant Kyi Taung on a private boat.

Explore the beauty and gold leaf Shwezigon Pagoda nearby and furthermore, learn about Burmese Buddhist traditions.

Continue to visit Htilominlo Temple – three stories tall, with a height of 46 metres and built with red brick. It is also known for its elaborate plaster moldings. On the first floor of the temple, there are four Buddhas that face each direction.

Then, you visit Ananda Temple, stop along the way on the Bagan plains to admire some of the surrounding temples. The temple layout is in a cruciform with several terraces leading to a small pagoda at the top covered by an umbrella known as hti, which is the name of the umbrella or top ornament found in almost all pagodas in Myanmar.

End of the day, we visit the second highest pagoda of Bagan, the Shwesandaw Pagoda. The pagoda contains a series of five terraces, topped with a cylindrical stupa, which has a bejeweled umbrella.

Take a different perspective of Bagan in sunset with this slow cruise on the Irrawaddy River.

●   Within 24 hours before departure: Guests pay 100%
●   From 24 – 48 hours before departure: Guests pay 50%
●   Prior to 48 hours before departure: Guests pay 20%

● Climbing on temples and pagodas is no longer permitted

● Please request in advance if you have a food allergy, you are a vegetarian, you observe Halal or diet menu. Some special requests might be applied with an extra charge.

● Children Policy

• From 12 years old up: pay as an adult.
• From 5 – 11 years old: Pay 75%
• Under 5 years old: Free of charge. However, only one under-five free admission per booking. If you have more than two under-five, from the second kid pays 50% each.
