REP01: ANGKOR WAT AND ANGKOR THOM(Full Day)

Overview

Explore the history of the Khmer civilization on a full-day tour of the majestic temples of Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom. One of the world’s premier travel destinations as it is one of the largest religious monuments in the world. You will spend your time to contemplate the unique and majestic architecture of temple complex, built between 802 and 1220 AD by by King Suryavarman II at the height of the Khmer Empire’s political and military power.

In the morning then start our tour to South Gate of Angkor Thom, then go to Angkor Thom (the temple) which was built by Angkor’s greatest king, Jayavarman VII. The major attraction of Angkor Thom is the Bayon, whose exact function and symbolism is still unknown until now, then go to Baphoun which is one of the most spectacular of Angkor’s temples in its heyday; Terrace of the Elephants was used as a giant reviewing stand for public ceremonies and served as a base for the king’s grand audience hall; Terrace of the Leper King is another of Angkor’s mysteries.

Lunch will serve at local restaurant.

In the afternoon a visit to the Fabulous Ta Prohm then visit the World Seventh Wonder which is well known as Angkor Wat, which is one of the most important archaeological sites in South-East Asia. Angkor wat stretch over some 400 sq. km, including forested area, Angkor Archaeological Park contains the magnificent remains of the different capitals of the Khmer Empire.

●   Within 24 hours before departure: Guests pay 100%
●   From 24 – 48 hours before departure: Guests pay 50%
●   Prior to 48 hours before departure: Guests pay 20%

● Children Policy

• From 12 years old up: pay as an adult.
• From 5 – 11 years old: Pay 75%
• Under 5 years old: Free of charge. However, only one under-five free admission per booking. If you have more than two under-five, from the second kid pays 50% each.
