Trekking through terrace fields to remote villages of different tribes and discover the diversity of culture in this mountainous area.
In the evening, get picked up and transferred to Ha Noi Railway station for your overnight train journey from Vietnam’s capital city to the border town of Lao Cai. Overnight on train.
Arrive early in Lao Cai at 06.00, get picked up by private vehicle for our drive up the age spectacular Sapa pass, which is 1,300m high, 33km long. The bus ride uphill takes a little over an hour giving you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces. Arrive Sapa in the morning; after a breakfast at local restaurant, we have some free time to wander around, exploring this beautiful multi-ethnic town.
In the afternoon, we take a walk to Cat Cat Waterfall to visit Black H’Mong minority people. Return to Sapa for a shower and a rest before heading out for dinner. Overnight in Sapa.
In the morning, start driving to visit Black HMong village of Lao Chai and Dzay village of Tavan. After that, we continue our day of trekking takes you along local paths, up and down rice terraces and into the villages and homes of the local hill tribes, the Dzays, the Dzaos, the Hmongs, and the Tays. Picnic lunch by the stream before moving on to Ban Ho. Overnight with your Tay hill tribe family.
Short trek to the dirt road for the vehicle to ride back to Sa Pa. Free afternoon to explore Sapa town, with great shopping in the market. We are transferred by private vehicle in the late afternoon to Lao Cai for our overnight train to Ha Noi. Overnight on train.
Arrive Ha Noi around early in the morning, get picked up and transfer to your hotel. Tour ends.
