YGN01: YANGON CITY TOUR(Full Day)

Overview

Take the Yangon city tour, an interesting exploration designed in Yangon City, the former capital city of Myanmar and now a famous tourist destination. During the tour, you have chance not only to visit well-known attractions in this city but also experience the daily life of the locals, especially lunch served with particular dishes.

In the morning then start our tour to Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda. We make our way to the downtown to explore architectures of the colonial buildings in this historic former capital city. Specifically, the tour guide will explain the history of each structure and what they were used for.

We take the lunch break and explore the local life of Burmese in China Town.

After that, we take a walk around the Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scotts Market) – located in the heart of city. The Bogyoke Aung San Market is the most popular market and a great spot for some shopping in Yangon. It is one of the precious colonial buildings you can find in this city

At the end of the day, immerse in the shimmering landscape of Shwedagon pagoda which is a magnificent golden pagoda on the top of Singuttara hill. It is said that this pagoda dated back from 2500 years ago and stored the hair relics of the Buddha. Today it becomes one of the most spectacular religious architecture in the world as well as a pride of Myanmar.

In the afternoon, transfer back to your hotel after a long day of activities.

●   Within 24 hours before departure: Guests pay 100%
●   From 24 – 48 hours before departure: Guests pay 50%
●   Prior to 48 hours before departure: Guests pay 20%
